Set the correct USB printer port

A USB receipt printer can stop printing when Windows assigns a different USB port. Steps 1. Connect and power on the printer, then open Windows Printers & scanners. 2. Open the printer's Printer properties and select the Ports tab. 3. Identify the active USB virtual printer port associated with the correct model. 4. Select that port, apply the change, and print a Windows test page. 5. Confirm that the POS printer name and Windows printer name still match. 6. Restart the POS and print a controlled test receipt. Important Do not select a port belonging to another receipt, label, or office printer. Recheck the assignment after moving the USB cable.
