Passwords identify the user; PINs approve protected cashier and back-office actions.
Steps
1. Open Administration > User Manager and select the affected user ID.
2. Use Change Password to replace a cashier password, then confirm and save it.
3. For PIN changes, open the Cashier PIN or Admin PIN section shown in User Profile/System Setup.
4. Enter the new PIN and save the user or system record.
5. Use Clear All PIN only when an authorized administrator must reset locked or forgotten PINs.
6. Test the new credential on the required protected function.
Important
Confirm the staff member's identity before resetting access. Never send passwords or PINs in public chat or email.
