Create a new retail item

Items Entry is the main product-maintenance screen in Zentyal POS. Steps 1. Open Items Entry and select New. 2. Enter a unique item code or barcode and the complete item name. 3. Assign the department, category, supplier, brand, division, and section that apply. 4. Enter unit cost, retail price, wholesale prices, quantity per box or case, and other required values. 5. Enable only applicable tags such as VAT, scale, serial, senior, freebies, points, pharma, or expiration. 6. Save the item, search for it in Item Listing, and verify its barcode and prices before selling it. Important Do not reuse an item code. Wrong classification affects inventory, sales reports, and price lookup.
