A cutoff warning usually means a cashier from the prior date still needs X-Reading or Z-Reading.
Steps
1. Read the warning and note the cashier, machine, and sales date shown.
2. Sign in again using the named cashier account.
3. Run X-Reading and verify the totals for that shift.
4. Post or close the X-Reading according to the approved process.
5. Run Z-Reading only if the entire business date is ready to close.
6. Sign in again and verify that the POS accepts the current operating date.
Important
Do not change the Windows date or edit database records to bypass the warning. Contact support if the named shift cannot be accessed.
